This is not about picking favorite artists, I don't even FW kendrick like that. I've listened to Drake 100x more than I've listened to Kendrick.

I was boutta say 15k but thought nah it couldn’t have been that low

also he didn't run most of the 2010's nor did he dominate

you can say he had a really strong discography but you can't really dominate without having the commercial success to back it up

A mess of a tracklist.

Weak features.

Thug pushing his own sound in a commercial direction, which he doesn't have to do in the first place because he originated so much of how rap sounds today.

Not nearly as distinctive as his previous albums, sounds basically like a Slime Language project.

Production is pretty bland too. Hardly anything memorable on there.

I liked it on release but it hasn't aged well at all. I hardly replay it.

I do agree that Thug owned the 2010s, same with Kendrick, but you don't need to blindly praise weaker projects. Talking about commercial success is different, though.

Btw high off life was released in 2020

Kendrick sold this in less than a week

Drake sold this in like 1 day

He dominated in terms of quality music

Consistent projects start to end of the decade

Fair that the start for him wasn't until like 2013, that's the only thing.

Lol if ya'll want to talk about sales and popularity then sure Drake, Future, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, etc dominated this decade.

He's easily doing 100k+ per project now, that's a huge increase for him, he's obviously only getting more popular.
