Btw high off life was released in 2020

Dominated in terms of sales, NOT MUSIC

    Scorpion was a GARBAGE album

You’re 27 and don’t know what the word dominate means? That’s pretty wild

So we can't talk about artists dominating based on their quality of music?

Sounds like you don't understand how to use the english vocabulary.

You actually can’t make up your own definitions of words to fit a narrative. Idk if anyone ever made you aware of that

You mean Ariana Grande, Drake, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, and Eminem?

    A mess of a tracklist.

    Weak features.

Thug pushing his own sound in a commercial direction, which he doesn't have to do in the first place because he originated so much of how rap sounds today.

Not nearly as distinctive as his previous albums, sounds basically like a Slime Language project.

Production is pretty bland too. Hardly anything memorable on there.

I liked it on release but it hasn't aged well at all. I hardly replay it.

Fair. I think it sounds like a watered down thug that retains almost nothing about what makes thug an interesting artist. I don’t think it sounds dated though (at least not yet). Just a regular pop trap album. Prolly won’t age as well in the future tho

What definition did I make up? I specifically said they were the only artists to release high quality music from start of the decade to the end of the decade. Hence they DOMINATED other artists this decade from a musical standpoint.

I'm not going to argue semantics with you so you feel superior bro, go do something productive.

also he didn't run most of the 2010's nor did he dominate

you can say he had a really strong discography but you can't really dominate without having the commercial success to back it up

    thug that is

Agreed. I’ve been a fan of thug since Two Cups Stuffed, Danny Glover, Stoner.... The Blanguage is one of my favorite songs ever....

But IMO, Thug was never running s***

I can’t tell if you’re genuinely slow or if you’re pretending to be but this thread isn’t a good look. Maybe change the title

Yeah, it's hard to tell at this point tbh, but I just hope that Thug can continue to pave his own lane because I feel like a lot of his recent music has been creatively stagnant. But it's selling so idk.

It's ok if you have low IQ. Don't b**** in my thread about it.

    Kendrick, Drake, Cole, Travis, Future

That’s who ran the 2010’s whether you want to admit it or not. Not in any specific order.

    verb

have a commanding influence on; exercise control over.
be the most important or conspicuous person or thing in.
"the race was dominated by the 1992 champion"

(of something tall or high) have a commanding position over; overlook.
"a picturesque city dominated by the cathedral tower"

    @op

you can't really say you "dominate" unless you're commercially successful, i get what you're saying, but you're using the definition wrong

Thug albums are not critically acclaimed. And if drakes music since 2015 hasn't been good then it wouldn't last on the charts
