    extremely difficult, missing assayas & rohmer, more godard, rivette, guitry, carax and melville. tried to only limit myself to one film per director

    been getting in some pialat too and he's one of the best of the french 70s.

    i love clouzot but you're wrong

    nah wouldn’t be no psycho without les diaboliques (which hitchcock wanted to make but luckily clouzot got the film rights) that ending better than any suspense scene hitchcock done (de palma also did suspense better than AH)

    man the whole truck ride to the oil field in le salaire de la peur is like 2h of knots in ur gut
