I've been to both Montreal and France on purpose I don't hate them it's just that the films often feel like homework (possibly because I'm Canadian and it literally used to be)

My criteria is the main spoken language of the films have to be French (So no Enter The Void even tho it's Noé)

@FlyHiii its was so weird seeing nahon in le doulos last rewatch after I had watched seul contre tous and irreversible

One thing that tripped me out was watching this Noé rip off and suddenly Nahon showed up in there as well

Because it's only visuals, it's supposedly inspired by the loss of her best friend which would make for something very emotional but the feeling just wasn't there for me. And even though i love nice visuals as an experience it just wasn't engaging enough or tried anything new that really wow'd me

It's your typical Gaspar rip-off film where the director seems to be unable to decide if she's high as f*** or just very h****. Just your typical French vibes It's def not bad, but i remember the night i watched it it just didn't hit like it was supposed to

Is Deerskin the best Dupieux?? I watched Reality yesterday and then today Wrong. I enjoyed Reality a lot more, even moved me a little bit lmao. Not sure what to peek next, but thought about Deerskin
