Every time the media pushes a debate to know if white people can say it i can’t help but see it as a calculated operation to stop real discussions from happening, idk maybe they just run out of things to talk about

But when the debate comes in people forget they’re individuals and react as members of a social group instead, which means IQ points start dropping

If a black dude let's someone who isn't black say it, do you call the black dude a coon?

It boils down to a respect issue.

It's like people don't really understand the history of the -er version OR how nigga came into prominence. It's usage in inner cities was political. If you know the full extent and histories of both versions as a black person and you STILL letting everything with no ties to this throw it around you then I have less respect for you on a personal level.

  • It’s only an on going issue in the US. Everywhere else, they don't care who says it.

I feel like most women don’t care about men using the term where as 90% of Blacks dont want non Blacks using it lmao

the latter is definitely true, but my girl would smack the s*** out of me if I called her a b****. feel as if a good amount of women would clap back

    You're wrong.

In the context of music there's less care about saying b****, not in real life.

Men that have respect for women don't be calling them b**** b**** b**** in conversation.

DaBaby says b**** a lot and uses the word b****es to refer to ladies but irl when he is talking to women he does not use that word out of respect.

The reason there's seemingly less blowback about b**** is because it has to do with women. Black men be busting dudes in the mouth for saying nigga, with women that dynamic of some type of reaction beyond words isn't there.

why do wypipo wanna say it so bad anyway

You don’t think straight when the debate is about your social group and not about you personally

Some people start acting like their most precious rights are taken away from them because they can’t say it

But if they have a black friend or coworker who tell them why it’s disrespectful to say it they’ll be more prone to accept it and see it rationally

This is only a conversation because non-black people have stolen every aspect of black cultures around the world and this is the one thing they can't have culturally without a fight.

    Sorry.

IDK man I’m around some pretty feminist type girls and they don’t really seem to mind the use of the word as long as it’s not directed at them personally. Whereas no Black person is really cool with white people saying nigga whether it’s directed at them or not. I use the word a lot when I’m with my boys and I definitely tone it the f*** down when I’m around women but I don’t completely cut it out of my vocabulary. I don’t think they’re comparable tbh. That doesn’t mean that I think it’s ok to call women b****es to their face.
