Peter Ethere's a concerted effort to quiet any real allegations of cultural appropriation by saying "everyone steals from each other", when clearly in the western world it's black culture (and broadly, poc) that get stolen from and don't see the fruits of their labor and foundations while the appropriators gain all the clout, and more importantly, the $$$
