Ok I see what you're trying to do.
I've said plenty of times in my previous post that the issue of transgender is very striking to me and I want to discuss it.
You're trying to make it into a "16 year old..."
Nice try.
s*** striking the same way a chick in a bathing suit in the 1920s was striking imo
Op you just want your opinion to be validated I’m assuming…
The comprehension skills of Ktt are very alarming
When did I ever say that I want my opinion validated?
I've said plenty of times that I want to have a discussion about how yall feel about it since I this is not the norm for me.
You guys are younger than me, so you're used to this. It would be interesting to see how you view this.

You don’t know my age nigga but what is there to discuss? If you feel uncomfortable or got any type of issue that’s a you problem. “Discussion” about this on public forums leads to transphobic comments and other nasty nonsense being spewed by the people with an actual agenda. Not saying you’re one of those people, but you should know that people are gonna side eye you for tryna open that discussion up…just my two cents
I'm just going to drop my thoughts here:
I feel that it starts in the household with parental guidance. My girl and I always go back and forth about this.
If a boy/girl is brought up and the parents are raising them as such (boy/girl), then the child will identify with that gender.
I think the problem arises when parents give their children a choice. If a boy wants to play with dolls, they're ok with that. If a girl wants to do more male oriented activities, they're ok with that as well.
I think at a young, impressionable age, parents needs to be extra intentional about raising their children.
If I was a kid and I wanted to play in my Mom's makeup, wear her heels, or put a wig on, my Mom would slap me silly lol.
These are just my thoughts. I'm not speaking from a place of malice, hate, or any type of phobia. If I am incorrect about anything, charge it to my ignorance.
Very interested to hear your thoughts on this.

You make good points
See my previous post
As a man, I honestly have a hard time digesting this. Not gonna lie.
I came up during a time where we called each other names (that can't be repeated) on the playground.
Seeing a man/boy transition into a woman will always be striking.
I don't have a problem with it. It's just hard to process.
As a huge Drake fan get over it, it’s not zaya’s responsibility to exist based on your experiences

Never said it was their responsibility to exist based on my experiences.
You're interjecting a statement that was never made in order to try to prove a point

“Back in my day they called us slurs for being different”
As a huge Drake fan who gives a s*** nigga it ain’t your day anymore let people live

Dude, every conversation doesn't have to be filled with extreme language.
I'm laying out my thoughts/feelings in an articulant manner.
The fact that you're calling for this discussion to be locked and for me to be banned shows that you lack the necessary communication/intelligence skills to partake.
I've admittedly said that I am ignorant on this topic and am looking to discuss it so that I can be schooled.
You on the other hand...you know what. Nevermind, lol.
It's not worth discussing this with you. You've shown me all that I need to know.

this aint it bro
kids 100% need more time with their parents and to experience parental guidance/discipline/etc. but it's actually super important for kids to be allowed to mess around wit stuff like this
in my late teens/early twenties i was pushing boundaries regarding my identity and sexuality and how I express it, and not havin to worry that my parents might beat me coz I f***ed around with makeup and femme clothing for 6mos allowed me to be in a space where I realized that sometimes I just wanna be a pretty boy and that no, I'm not trans or anything like that. but for a period of time it was like the crux of my life experience
if i had been punished for that I prolly woulda rebelled by leaning in to it further, pulling away from my fam even more, and who knows what coulda happened
btw i was brought up v masculine. riding dirt bikes, camping, hunting varmints, etc. so for u to say som like "raise a boy a boy and they'll identify as a boy" is literally countered directly by my own lived experience

Question - Do you come from black family (as I do)?
I ask because, the black community has a hard time accepting this.
I can't speak for this new generation because they accept anything lol.
But the old school generation doesn't play that.
I don't know man. If I had a son and he wanted to play with a doll or wear a dress, I would probably say, "No. Boys don't do that"
Is there anything wrong with saying that?
transgender people have been hyperanalyzed for the last 10 years why do we need anymore insight on them that hasnt already been discussed. go read 20 of the other threads that have been made on here

Boys literally play with dolls all the time
We call them action figures LMAO
