I agree but I grew up on it so I’m biased

I will say I think a lot of 90’s and even 80’s rappers dropped some of their best work in the 2000’s. Ice Cube, Scarface, Jay, Nas, Wu Tang, Three 6 Mafia.

I think this for a lot of stuff, but that’s when I was growing up, so I feel like I’m biased

No you just grew up then. Its possibly the worst decade of music. Altho i have to say 2020's has been abysmal so far

  • Prime 50/G unit

It's an arguement to be made. I could see why the 90s could take it

Think we can all agree the current gen is the worst

I feel like 70s is underrated.
Everyone always acts like Disco (which isn’t even bad) is the only thing that happened then, but from what I’ve heard there was still a bunch of other types of grate music being made

2000s is metalcore, linkin park, kanye, lupe, american gangster, towards the later half u had a lot of dope indie rock, some good rnb, it was a good era

Also had a good underground rap scene with mf doom and producers like nujabes, burial etc

Having a gameboy and playing pokemon made 90s kids happier than a today's kid playing gta5 on the best computer or something. It was special and amazing

todays kids too fed up with technology

Ig cuz i didnt grow up in the 90s so i feel gaming was better later, but everything else seemed simple af in the 90s. Cold war, crack epidemic and aids epidemic all over with. Pre war with iraq conflict wasnt that big. Economy was booming. All new eras for film, rap, rock, pop etc i know it was still issues in the 90s but it seemed like it wasnt as many stories about super crazy s*** as much as other decades. We had all the stuff that makes life easier now but without the stuff that made them harder. Internet and cell phones were around but not a huge burden on society yet. Most movies were making it seem like the biggest problem was a boring office job where u can afford a nice apartment.

    2000s was the best era

    Exactly.
Hip hop had mad niggas simultaneously hitting sales and charts during this time.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen that in any other decade not even the 90’s
