The fence is still up for debate. The people that didnt like him wouldn't like him even if he responded in a way they would agree with. The people that do like him are even more energized. And id argue most people are in opposition to the people rioting so tht doesn't hurt trump at all.

Like I said before polls haven't accurately reflected anything about trump. Dont see a path for him winning plus he's less energetic and hasn't said anything to help his popularity. Trump has energy and continues to excite people. Biden doesn't excite anyone.

This is what people said about Hilary. i think you overlook how unpopular Biden is not only by conservatives but by lefties. I think you also overstate how unpopular trump is in the midwest. Most of trumps hate comes from states he wasn't going to win or a state like texas which will swing red in this election. He consistently has gaffes man. In order to beat trump you have to be energetic and offer something dramatically different while using the same strategies trump used. You cant beat an energetic populist with an energetic base without being a populist yourself. Biden's past also makes things worse. What can biden hit trump on outside of race? Not to mention biden slips up on race all the time. Fopo? We have no new wars and trump continues to echo the same sentiments he did in the past. Lack of stability? Trump can just point out the crazy left. Record? The economy "appears" to be doing well.

Hillary won the popular vote so yeah, they were right then too,, just that she lost the rust belt, where Biden is measurably stronger than her. More Americans are liberal than conservative so biden doesn’t really need their support. Also independents prefer Biden to trump because he’s more moderate. Last election, many of the counties Bernie won against Hillary in the rust belt ended up going to trump in the general. This time around, Biden solidly beat bernie all over the rust belt. Hillary was seen as a literal force of evil for her emails and was blamed for the benghazi attacks. Trump is not some foreign policy genius, much of the worlds perception of America has taken a downturn since he’s been in office. People do in fact believe the downward trend in unemployment is due to policies set in place by Obama. No, I don't. I could probably find some data through some friends but I'm just too lazy to do that. Most of my argument comes from how I believe voters feel. It isn't just the TPP. Bernie lost to Biden because he didn't focus on all the issues those people cared about. Trump did.

Biden's shortcomings are his record is no different than Hilary, he's attached to Obama, has constant gaffes, doesn't add anything new, and isn't liberal enough for his party.
