Q1 2024 looks way better than Q1 2023. Rebirth, Ronin, Yakuza, Tekken 8, P3R, Metaphor, Granblue, PoP, new Vanillaware game, Eiyuden, new Trails, Visions of Mana, Dawntrail prob DQ3R... List goes, this is just off the top of my head. S***, I'm prob getting more games in 2024 than 2023 myself. Idk how anyone can say this is mid compared to 2023

I think 2024 will could potentially be as good as 2023 or better, but right now in terms of confirmed release dates we don’t have anything on the level of totk or bg3 imo

I mean sure a game like dragons dogma 2 or rise of ronin COULD be a future classic and I’m excited to try them personally but they just don’t have the hype leading up to it

And it won 3 awards, what a sweep...). No, it is not mainstream. 7 Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, and other titles I listed will handily outsell Alan Wake 2. Wanna make an avi bet? FF7R is a sequel, not a remake. I'm pretty sure you and I have had this discussion before so idk why you keep peddling this lol. FF7R did 3.5mil in a week. Alan Wake 2 didn't break 1 mil in a month. There isn't a world where you are seriously contesting me saying that FF7R is "more hype" than Alan Wake 2. You have to be trolling with this. FF7R has outsold Alan Wake 1+2 combined in 1/3 of the time. With Rebirth being open world it likely will even push beyond the first game's initial sales.

Alan wake 2 didnt have physical copies and wasn’t on steam, of course the sales were bad, but epic covered the bill
