It wouldn’t have the same production for example if it dropped today. The drums would be completely different. Show me a hit song from today that uses that kind of production.
You 100% right that it still sounds great, but a lot of it wouldn’t drop today sounding exactly like it did in 03. It’s just they were ahead of the curb when it came to production so they don’t sound quite as dated.
