NGNLMy only gripe with loop producing is that the original creator of the loop should get a producer credit

Facts
That’s the labels job. However, there are some producers that will pretend they did the whole thing themselves when filing paperwork for a placement and the person who did the original sample/loop will get left hanging

Trap producers are good beat makers not engineers
beatmaking ≠ producing but it is a part of producing
you don’t even have to make the beat to be considered a producer tbh

How is that at all what an engineer does?
And how is getting a loop and adding drums and different than what 90s rap producers did by finding a sample and adding drums
(I know the searching/chopping of the sample is a part of it, but looking at the music creation, they’re both doing the same thing. Sample + drums)
