Im 100% convinced that alot of these beats are copy and paste.

You cant tell me that every one of these beats are different.

Op in life section I can't take you seriously but I agree wit you

If this was 20-30 years ago yall would b the same niggas saying hip hop isn’t real music because they would take a sample directly from a soul record and just throw a drum loop under it

Exactly op is acting like this is new or something.

what is it you’re saying that they do?

Finding a loop and adding drums is ur issue? Look at any 90s rap beat. It’s a sample loop and then either a drum loop, which is two loops. Or they add drums

  • Dec 21, 2020

producers and audio engineers are two different things

This classic is more lazy than a lot of beats from producers today. I don't get what your problem is, if it works it works. You don't have to over complicate things just because.

    Gods Plan is a loop?

  • Dec 21, 2020

    True, but It make sense.

Idk what you mean by they’re engineers

But These producers are incredible at drum programming and s***. Why would they not team up with melody makers, let them get a bag and then focus on making the songs as good as they can.

  • Dec 21, 2020

This beat is literally just a sample looped. They didnt add s*** to it lmao

This is the example I had in my head lmao

Like bro they hardly added S***. And I’m not even saying niggas that use loops dont add things, you can chop a loop the same way u can chop a sample, cause that’s essentially what a loop is; a sample.

The only difference between a loop and a sample that was dug for is that there’s less “charm” in using a loop than there is in digging for a sample

  • Dec 21, 2020

If you’re trying to impress other producers in hopes of one day having s***with them? Dig for the most obscure samples you can find and be like knxwledge or some s*** and whenever someone asks if they can send u a loop, growl at them

    Facts

That’s the labels job. However, there are some producers that will pretend they did the whole thing themselves when filing paperwork for a placement and the person who did the original sample/loop will get left hanging

I wonder if the person who made the NIP synth loop is sitting pretty
