Honestly I have never had technical questions pop up while I was searching for internships or entry-level positions, but @bejewelry might be right that there'll be a simple Excel test.
I'd just brush up on your basic debits/credits and basic Excel s*** like doing a VLOOKUP or inserting a Pivot Table. Very easy stuff.

Real simple interview. They'll just be asking you simple stuff like are you aiming for the CPA, when are you graduating, stuff like that. Keep it casual but remember it's still an interview.

Yeah, for an industry FP&A position I can see that happening, but public accounting will probably never ever do an Excel test. Too many folks would fail lol
i still have my associates and want to finish my degree. the company im at now i may be able to move into a private accounting position once i finish school.
i plan on going back soon, probably next year even if its 1 class on a weekend to ease back in
