I lost a lot of excess weight this year cos I was just at home instead of at work (and snacking and eating more takeout there as a result) and me and my girl (mostly her lol) would cook every meal, be very regimented with snacks etc. As everybody else said, just eating better is half the battle
Defo got a lot worse for snacking from like October on but hoping to get back into better habits post Xmas
i almost forgot i didnt stop snacking cold turkey as i learned how to cook. but they never seemed to hinder my weightloss journey
i went thru a phase of tea biscuits, unsalted nuts, dark chocolate gradually from 50% to 85% etc

You kinda can. It’s honestly just being conscious of what you eat, when you eat, and how much you eat. If you cook your own meals, you know the general ballpark of how much calories you’re consuming. Even if you make a dish like.. spaghetti and don’t know the exact number, you can resolve that with portion sizes.
counted calories for 1-2 months around february till i could guestimate everything in my kitchen cabinet and stopped @TheBoss99

been off keto for like a year, still intermittent fasting tho.

yes i cut sugar and bought real stevia from a health foods store to help me get rid of my sweet tooth
with salt i just stopped cold turkey. no replacement. i just added a lot of herbs and spices in my food and developed a taste pallet for it
i dont have an oven so never dabbled into baking anyways
