if his point was just that although it's a dangerous precedent, it's an unfortunate net good if only because it leads to people getting paid/jobs/benefits, and our education system and job market are together so flawed anyway that it requires this level of corruption to self-repair and function, I wouldn't agree, but I could at least see the perspective of where he was coming from. but instead the guy came in saying some wild s*** about it being a benevolent charitable move and a good example of education

Worked as a Department Manager on the Robotics side for about 4 years. There were plenty of s***ty days but I gotta say I learned a lot and my resume gets so many hits based off my Amazon experience alone. Was able to leverage that into an Automation Engineering career. I’m happy with my current situation but I still get endless calls from recruiters lol. Amazon is a great place to work if you have a plan in place you can make it work for you in the future.
