I work at Amazon, the worst thing here is the ridiculous rates they want you to hit, especially during the holidays where they make you do overtime.
Fair and honest gripe tbh. Is it brutal slave labor though?

The people who get over worked in there are the ones who don't speak up for them selves
That's why they're trying to unionize, Bozo
calling it 'slave labor' calls for a more nuanced discussion to why someone would call it that
at face value that seems like hella exaggeration,
but in a place where if u quit u don't have healthcare and the retirement s*** and you're doing hard physical labor for long hours and can't use the bathroom or some s*** like people were saying,
we're in 2021, it's not that they couldn't make the process better for all their employees, it's that they don't want to

I wouldn't say that, it might feel like it sometimes when they're hounding you especially if you just took a bathroom break. It also depends on your manager because a lot of them like to treat you like a robot that only does said warehouse job.

Shouldn’t be called slave labor sets a bad precedent
Bet my wifey stay close, she know I'm on my Bezos
And then both Bezos and Ye ended up getting a divorce
Why'd you quit?
Better pay over at the Buddig factory
Plus 90% of my work would be on a forklift and I hadn't touched a forklift my entire time at amazon.

Okay if one nigga in a factory of 1000s of ppl letting the manager overwork them that's their fault. Why you come at me like I'm against unionizing
Carl Buddig?
Yeah they started at 14.50 but after the probation I was making close to 20

That's dope. I used to do security for a meat factory that they bought out. But they dropped our contract and I had to leave.
Actually met 2 of the owners. My supervisor talked them into giving him a consulting job lol, and that guy was cool af with me so I probably coulda finessed my way into a decent paying job there too

Exactly lmfao. Such a ridiculous f***ing comparison
are you the spokesman for the blacks
as a black person i am offended and going to report to black twitter
Call me crazy but isn’t paying your workers a living wage a better idea than paying them 2k to quit
Did you hear that from someone who works there or from TikTok/Twitter. I know 4-5 people IRL who work at different warehouses and haven’t ever had a bad experience
stop signing in to ktt to d*** ride capitalism lol
