Like what’s the the differences in characterization for everybody? Like Galadriel for example

She doesn't use any magic yet in this show. None of the elves do really. She's a warrior and def way more about that action than in LOTR. She basically refuses to rest until she hunts down all of the orcs and knows all traces of sauron are gone

and now.. new content is made for the franchise and apprently now THIS is the worse this series can get and has nothing redeemable and it all sucks, maybe even more than the prequels.

It's just that I prefer the more grounded and violent approach to fantasy, so HOTD has been my main interest now

Personally I despise the Hobbit movies and am somewhat enjoying the new series.

I'm a geezer so I was Star Wars stan before the prequel trilogy came out..... It was overhated from the jump but definitely not touching the og's. Only the Last Jedi really justified it's existence of the new trilogy (and then some, it's amazing)

Hobbit movies were some big ass but the scene with Gollum was pretty awesome
