still though you're making it seem like 4chan is some niche site when judging from the numbers in tranq's post its pulling more users than MAL
I think compared to MAL's anime community, 4chan is pretty niche
Tranq is right about how the archiving works but still, its no where near as big as MAL. Even if 4chan is pulling tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of users, you have to realize that is barely 10-15% of MAL's population
Like for context, 4chan AS A WHOLE receives 22 million monthly visitors a month. MAL received 120 million visitors a month in 2015.
Eh this one is alright compared to the last couple I've read.
What else have you read?
Romantic comedies, or manga in general? Have you read it all? Because it just gets funnier and funnier as the chapters go on.

Romcoms.
This manga I've kept trying to read, but I read one chapter at a time and forget about it reading my other manga updates
Idk why it's not catching my attention

Volume One Podcast is the main one I watch/listen to, idk if its what your looking for though. They do series read throughs, chapter reviews for csm and one piece and they also got a series where they cover the first volume of a new series they've never read before, I think they do that every other week now.
The live-action stuff in today's Bocchi episode like the paper characters and balloon popping were awesome. Can't remember seeing anyone do stuff like that since golden age Shaft.
12 mil unique visitors for an anime site compared to 22 mil in entirety for 4chan, which has communities for every topic
That’s crazy
Clannad and A Silent Voice did make me cry
reading this made me wanna rewatch silent voice, been 4 years. gives me chills thinking about it
I do respect that 4chan generally considers death note trash though
Thought this was common consensus among people that watched more than 3 anime tbh

Not really a podcast guy, that first volume review sounds cool tho, whats a good vid of theirs?

Their episodes on Dandadan (episode 82) and Gintama both got me into those series, so maybe one of those. They did episodes on Golden Kamuy, 20th Century Boys and Dai Dark that also peaked my interest in those but I haven't started them yet. They have a decent backlog and cover a lot of different things, shonen, rom com, seinen, mystery, etc so they've probably covered something that you've heard of but haven't started.

its one of the most loved anime out there I feel. It's honestly rare I see anyone hate on it. It's not quite at the beloved status of FMA B or Cowboy Bebop but its def at the level of Code Geass in respect.
I also do not like FMA B. "I'm not short" the anime

A Silent Voice is probably one of the rare "emotional" anime that genuinely deserves that tag. It isn't exploitative like so many other anime pushing the over the top sentimentality and it genuinely earns its moments.
