So I got a job working for the Department of Health but the state sector as a HR Business Partner. So pretty much I oversee like the HR operations of 2 hospitals. I’ve been here for about a month and I’m burnout already. I lied my way into this position. Had zero expectations I’d actually get it.
Now I’m here and this s*** hard
They got me laying mfers off left and right.
Also COVID numbers are BS. I do reports on employees who come into contact with COVID patients and what the outcome of the patient’s health is under their care and most of the people who died actually died from negligence
But yeah I don’t think I can keep this s*** up
damn thats f***ed up but at the same time
(talking about the lying your way into the job part, not the niggas getting COVID part )
well well well if it isnt the consequences of your actions
You just derailed your thread with that COVID paragraph
Came in to give real advice but this just took me out

I don't think it's over my head though, there's just a learning curve.
What are you teaching?

This is how you become a man op. I've lied my way into every job i've ever had. I've been a cook at 3 restaurants and i actually hate cooking. I had no clue what i was doing. I lasted 6 months at one job and most of the time i just walked around and hit on the waitresses. But I'll be damned if i wasn't the best pizza maker in that whole city by the time i left. How do i do it you ask? I'm just that damn good. You can do this op, i believe in you

Find a mentor OP. Or find someone that can teach you that’s been in the game longer than you

It’s true. It’s less expensive for a hospital to say their patient died of COVID than negligence. That’s how hospitals lose funding leading to layoffs.

Yeah I work under a director that’s relatively young and has been helping me
