Bro ive been a teacher for 3 days and. . . s***.
All i do is bullshit with the kids. Only thing allowing me to do this is i teach all electives.
Haven't finished my classes for certifications. Haven't taken my tests. Barely know what im doing at all.
P.S. :
Just learned how to take attendance a day ago.
im pulling my kids put your class immediately
Don’t feel like my job too advanced for me but I’m ready to move on and do something else. Already reach the I don’t give a f*** attitude at work and barley even wanna work 40 hours, be leaving early all the time.
i (along with everyone else in my team) started a new position in IT at a huge vehicle insurance company about a month ago
we provide support for every employee nationwide. it's a gigantic f***ing mess. you never feel like you're doing your job right. and somehow my boss comes in and says we're the 2nd best team in the country by the numbers (out of like 50 different teams that are internal), and i don't even know how
Its so funny but questionable at the same time how IT jobs go. Im getting an associates rn for it and i hear about stories where the job is such BS and just tedious work you go home and dont care and then i hear stories about the company very keen on who they hire and knowing everything you specialize in on the fly and that being everything you think about
My advice is to bullshit your way into a higher position with even less responsibility
Does it look bad for you if all your students have A’s? Like, would that show that your coursework is too easy?
Idk. Good question.
I’m working as a quality assurance a***yst. They got me testing s*** that originally a team of 3-5 people should be doing. I just been signing off on s*** saying it’s good to go. I’m so burnt out and stressed from that s***. Don’t know why I took it up smfh
There are people itt in important roles and they're playing it all loosey goosey holy garbanzo beans no wonder maga clan king won twice and the city's on fire life is crack on steriods

don't wanna compare cuz u have it way rougher but I'm a gta and the class i'm semi teaching is so f***ing weird. like they're supposed to learn the material out of class and i interact with them one day a week (two sections, each meeting on monday or wednesday, for 50 minutes), and they aren't engaging with the material at all, so i basically have to combine 3 days teaching in one while monitoring a live broadcast of lecture, it's fine but my students are getting a terrible experience and if i were them i'd be outraged about paying for it
Damn y’all making me wanna get a real job I been sober from weed for like a month I easily can rn

I wish I could successfully bs my way into a great job. if u slightly tweak your resume and u know how to say the right things to convince them, sometimes it can work to your advantage.
fake it til u make it basically

it's honestly very hit or miss, leaning more on the hit side imo. IT really gets good when you exit user support really. so like 3-5 years into your career lol
when you are in a support role though, you should always try to do it internally for a company rather than working outsource stuff. trust me.
Kind of feel like that right now OP (not the COVID s***, you dumb asl for that.) I’m in an HR intern role and I felt super out of place and like I didn’t really know what the f*** I’m doing. It wasn’t till about a month in that I realized that a lot of that work is just critical thinking and like trying to serve the internal customer (aka employees.)
My boss was like the lead HRPB for one of the TJX departments (I think he said HomeGoods and HomeSense) and he says a lot of it is just like networking, coaching, consulting, and s*** like that. Weird they are having you do employee relations work though as a BP. I figured that would be a different role in HR but I guess every organization different. I’d say find a mentor and take notes and try to like be observant and s***.
Ask questions and try to learn more s*** about HR every day. Check out SHRM or some s*** and stay up to date with HR related topics
