I believe I get most of my jobs because the interviewer just likes my personality... cause my interview skills are trash.

This is how you become a man op. I've lied my way into every job i've ever had. I've been a cook at 3 restaurants and i actually hate cooking. I had no clue what i was doing. I lasted 6 months at one job and most of the time i just walked around and hit on the waitresses. But I'll be damned if i wasn't the best pizza maker in that whole city by the time i left. How do i do it you ask? I'm just that damn good. You can do this op, i believe in you

i agree. I’m going to stick with it. Can’t be quitting jobs in this time

One lesson I learned from a friend in an executive role: never tell anyone you can't do a job. You don't have to lie about your experience level, just don't volunteer anything unless you're asked. It's better to learn on the job and improve yourself than do something and easy and boring anyway.

i (along with everyone else in my team) started a new position in IT at a huge vehicle insurance company about a month ago

we provide support for every employee nationwide. it's a gigantic f***ing mess. you never feel like you're doing your job right. and somehow my boss comes in and says we're the 2nd best team in the country by the numbers (out of like 50 different teams that are internal), and i don't even know how

Exactly bro. Places will hire you even if you tell them straight up "i have no clue how to do this" which is basically every job i've ever had

Yeah I'm 20 years old with no formal education and I run a restaurant. Most stressful thing I've ever done

  • Every job I've worked at for an extended period of time I got hired on the spot. Charismatic asf and that's honestly all they want. The hard skills can be taught, personality and determination cannot.

  • Sep 11, 2020

I’ve only experienced the other way around, even at the real office jobs I’ve had.

Hopefully you'll do fine. I promise I'm just winging it everyday.

    I teach robotics and engineering.

Imagine lying your way into teaching such difficult fields I need to know how you teach them, like what do you even discuss with them during a class?

  • Sep 11, 2020

@op how’d you lie your way into it

  • Sep 11, 2020

Just an introduction to jobs and fields they could partake in.
    Daily events.
Current topics in the engineering world.

    ... YouTube videos.

Does it look bad for you if all your students have A’s? Like, would that show that your coursework is too easy?

Op talkin bout how he isn’t qualified enough to be the HR guy and yet he feels qualified enough to speak on COVID deaths being due to negligence

Stop spreading this bs op and stick to what you actually know

  • Sep 12, 2020
    Big Papi Nizzy

It’s true. It’s less expensive for a hospital to say their patient died of COVID than negligence. That’s how hospitals lose funding leading to layoffs.

Dog you don’t know what tf you’re talking about, just stop
