talk to your advisor and change your major
Changing majors in Ireland isn't really a thing..
Our courses are set in stone..
I could change from say Business to Business and IT, but I would need to sit all the IT modules I haven't done already.
That could be 2 modules from first year, 1 from second year and 4 in the third year - but you can't take them all in one year.
If I change from Business to Arts, or English or Geography - it doesn't carry, I'm just starting over.
I'm saying you don't have to change your degree. Your degree ultimately does not matter for whatever you want to do, unless you want to be a doctor or a lawyer.
if you want to work in Academia, then just get a Masters in the field you're interested in.
Not possible, I'm interested in English and do pursue a masters in English (or a related field), my undergrad has to be in English.

I'm from Ireland and I'm asthmatic.
I would love to be a rescue swimmer though
so glad I didn't go to college, if I was y'all I would dropout and start a musical career

Don't know really that's just the way grad school works here, with a couple exceptions you can only pursue a masters and above based on your undergraduate degree.

How’s that going for you

I mean you can’t work for KPMG or Deloitte with a humanities degree

If you want to make great money AND have good work life balance right out of college, do computer science. Every other major sucks unless you're genuinely interested in learning / passionate about it.
i worked 9-5s for 3 years after hs because i wasnt confident in what i wanted to study and also to save up money
i found the perfect course to major in and am looking extremely forward to attending it this upcoming winter insallah

no that's not true lol. it might matter for recent grads where their degree and school experience are the main thing that companies look at, but once you have work experience, your major literally does not matter at all.

You literally have to have accounting courses to work for those firms. They expect you to take the CPA exam which required specific accounting coursework
Unless you go into their consulting, advisory or valuation divisions, I don’t see how that’s possible

yeah that's if you want to work in their accounting department, but those companies have multiple different departments
