My parents decided for me to go on my own and build up my own credentials. Previously in college I majored in US History and that didn't get me anywhere, so I'm working at Walmart for 5 years living on my own now. Planning to quit in 2 years and enter real estate

  • We were well off in terms of the amount of money my dad made (and mom though she stopped working when I was 2) but my parents were pretty irresponsible with money so as a result we kinda did struggle. (I guess that falls on me too.) We never saved, frequently forgot to pay bills and had services shut off, almost lost the house once cuz we didn't pay taxes. Besides the few times the electric got shut off though I never really felt the impact.

At the same time I enjoy my current job and want to take my time, although it's not the best choice since I'm already 28

Been there, and honestly when I first moved out I always purchased WAY TO MUCH FOOD.

Took me half a year to realize, "the food ain't going nowhere it's ok"

    Very complicated

My fam hopped classes like we were in school b

went from middle class to upper high class to poverty back to high/middle class

The shift from upper class to poverty was the most important for me. Went from having a maid in newport beach to living in a cockroach invested home with barely any food. Learned alot

  • no, lower middle class
