i never used melotone before is their different kinds like strength and extra strength ?

nah there's just one kind, all you can take is different amounts of it. start at like 2mg and go up or down from there.

most tablets are more than that in dosage (mine are 5mg per tablet but that's way too much), so you'll probably have to break them into smaller pieces.

more than you breaking the routine, i think it was the fact that you watched TV because that affects the eyes.

just think of when you go from a super bright room to a dark one and how it takes time to adjust. similar when you go from a dark room to a bright one that feels much brighter.

your eyes gotta adjust to the general light level around it and the TV is a big interruption with that.

no your right when i am sleeping in a dark room it takes a bit longer for me to get to sleep then if i am trying to sleep with the tv on

Do you drink coffee? If so, try having it earlier during the day instead of later. Reduce or eliminate caffeine intake.

If you want, you can take melatonin as long as you're sure you'll get enough hours of sleep. Don't take melatonin if you know you'll have to wake up in four hours. That's going to make you groggy when you wake up and mess with your functioning.

Listen to calm, relaxing music to help you fall asleep. Get a speaker. No headphones.

I take melatonin . It doesnt work for me.
I have insomnia where I can only sleep 3-4 hours a night. Occasionally when I'm exhausted I get 6-7 hrs.
