Damn I have to consider trading my 2018 in now

You should wait until the ARM processor / 14 inch / mini LED version drops later this year / early next

Good looks, this might have to be the move. Getting the new iPhone anyway, it would be nice to have this too.

Apple still letting you send in devices for repairs?

  • May 6, 2020

I bought the MacBook Pro last year and can attest to hating the keyboard. These new keyboards should be WAY better

Waiting for a 16” 2020 Pro model. This 13” MBP is one of the first disappointing Apple releases in a minute.

  • May 7, 2020

I have a mid 2017 13” MBP and I use it with a monitor at home. Thinking about selling that and just copping a Mac Mini to hook up to the monitor. But I could also cop an iMac and have a multi screen display instead

Problem is I’m using a 24” monitor and I won’t match with either size

As for portability I’m thinking about eventually getting an iPad Pro with the magic keyboard. Have a standard 2018 iPad that I was using for school which I would keep suing for the time being

    better GPU
    better CPU

    GPU is like 400% better
    CPU is like 210% better
battery life is a little better also

the cheaper 13 has a bit slower 2018 chip but its pretty close to the 2020 not really comparable to the dual core 2017s

if your gonna do c4d I'd def go with the 13 inch that has the 10th gen chip if you can
the gpu is way better than the 8th gen that's basically the only difference
the cpu is only like 10% better and yeah should run a lot better on these new ones

Don't expect much new from a 2020 16" MBP either.... going to be even more incremental than the 13" was. Big changes coming next year with ARM and mini-LED

Really on the fence as to whether I should just cop a 16” now or wait for a possible refresh later this year. My 2012 pro is on its last legs has served me so well over the years

dam is it the 2012 retina pro ? honestly i would most likely hold off cause i do think they should update the 16 again by the end of the year

Even worse, the OG fat boy. Actually ended up getting the 16” yesterday cause I got fed up, hope the refresh coming later this year isn’t a huge difference.

Holy s*** this laptop is incredible though
