I understand where you are coming from my guy. My basic point is that slavery caused a huge multi-generational wealth and power gap between whites and blacks. If I was in charge, my goal would be to close that gap as much as possible. You can still follow your goals and interests, spend money on whatever you like with your money... I just feel simply giving money won’t fix an underlying problem. Materialism is a part of black culture. It affects my Mexican-american brothers and sisters as well. However, we didn’t deal with slavery in America. Prejudice yes, but not slavery.
