I feel like the newer assassin's creed games are the most average games I've ever played. When I rate games, I'll rate it against Odyssey as a baseline (of 5/10)
As for everything pre black flag/unity, they were really good at the time since there was nothing else like it but I doubt it holds up today
it was all good until they killed the Desmond story
I believe that's what kept me interested in the game
He died in AC3 right?
The setting
Still no game ever made that lets you explore ancient egypt to the extent Origins did. This is why people buy these games. History is cool
That's what I love about Origins so much. I had been wanting to explore ancient egypt so bad and they finally pulled it off. I would say I wouldn't mind if another franchise tackled the setting either.
I never played any until Origins
Origins was amazing
Odyssey was okay but just too big/long/repetitive, I never finished it
I didn’t buy Valhalla
ezio ones are fantastic fam, they look like a product of 00 early 10s but they are still fun to play and the writing was strong
Such a great game franchise in the beginning then like COD they botched everything afterwards
Ezio Chronicles, AC3 & Black Flag >>>
Edit: Unity was nice to but if you played during release you know the lag and bugs where real!
People say this then go play Ghosts of Tsushima and Horizon series
Which just play like Ubisoft games with better graphics and story
1 is literal trash, 2-syndicate are amazing, origins is rough change up for me, havent tried oddyssey yet, valhalla is a lot of fun to me but bloated af still working my way through it .
favorite is still 3 and syndicate. coop in unity is amazing to me and i wish they nurtured coop ass creed.
3 gets a lot of s*** for having a near 20 hour tutorial before becoming an assasin but damn it sets up quite the epic personal story for connor while being wrapped up in the american revolution. really unique and really did have everything that made ass creed great if you were willing to give in to its story path.
f*** the future story though. hard pass on anything future related. just keep me in historical playgrounds.
syndicate is easily the worst ac ever i’ve never heard of someone enjoying it lmao
Everything up to Black Flag (4) is classic.
Origins is an incredible game.
Valhalla feels LONG as s***.

Odyssey is a classic too
I played like the first 3 and liked them. Then a few years later I tried the black flag one. I quit that one because of the ships. It's too many games out there now for me to get back into
Odyssey is a classic too
Good to know, I skipped that one though Even though I bought it, L on me
syndicate is easily the worst ac ever i’ve never heard of someone enjoying it lmao
I started Syndicate 4-5 times & quit it 4-5 times.
The premise, lore & setting seemed interesting, but just god awful modern story progression and overall lack of “What I’m doing will save the world”.
2,3,4
That’s it. That was the run it had. 1 was the beginning but very repetitive. They perfected it with 2. 3 and 4 were fun because they had new areas but still stuck to AC roots. After that AC series was DOA

the basic strongholds are some of the better designed in the series, especially if you enjoy stealth. evie is a top tier character. probably the best combat balance since ac2. London is iconic and the class struggle is oozing out the seams. the helix fragments going into ww1 with Winston Churchill is beautiful and is what we play ac for imo. absolutely loved syndicate through and through. I gotta go play the jack the ripper dlc some day.
I'm just not a basic b**** who only answers ezio or black flag. the ac series had a lot going for it until they listened to the haters and made it less action adventure and more rpg.
it was all good until they killed the Desmond story
I believe that's what kept me interested in the game
so what’d you think of the ending of Valhalla?
