If Trump could promise me another $2k, I would vote for him

Don’t even have to be 2k, a new pair of Nikes and he got my vote, just SOMETHING

Biden pretended he was gonna forgive me student loans knowing all along it'd get turned down f*** that crusty old fart

It was extremely public who blocked that from happening

Biden most likely was aware the 10/20k was never going to happen, but it's not like he abandoned that the same way trump abandoned building the wall

because there’s literally only two options people choose from & Trump the only republican that has any chance of winning

well a good swath of the left actually largely looks down upon religion because it directly clashes against their core values such as individualism and obviously secularism, (for the more radical and zealot side of these faiths) they don’t really leave anything that can fill a God-sized hole in their ideologies, that also isn’t even getting into the issues with LGBT+ rights and abortion blah blah blah so it’s a really hard sell appeal wise etc.

they kinda just hope disparaging and s***ting on these faiths are enough to get people to leave but that’s not how things work lol, if you don’t leave anything in place for people to gravitate to for the things that religions offer, they’re just gonna go back

The only thing I agree with the left on when it comes to religion is you shouldn’t really have religious beliefs influence policy like banning abortions and what not.

But outside of that the way they condescend to religious people and theology/spiritual belief systems in general doesn’t sit right with me

When I was a kid it seemed like democrats were the working class party and republicans were the more sadly party. It seems like that’s changing

that’s pretty much the crux of my issue with the left too im far from politically informed but there’s a general distaste for spirituality and religion over there for whatever reason it’s p funny

i’ve been called a Repub (or even a monarchist, lol) a handful of times simply because im pretty firm in my theism

  • Mar 12, 2024

It’s sad cus minorities think if they support a white supremacist, they will accept them. But sorry, they will always see you as a lesser being.

Why do you think after Kanye becoming a Nazi piece of s***, he suddenly got so much support from white supremacists / self hating minorities all of a sudden?

This couldn’t be any more further from the truth lol. The super Far left maybe(you can say the same for a lot of ultra right people too) but saying “the left has a distaste for religion” when most of them are religious including the president is hilariously false.

Feel like most people in their hearts are NIMBY and liberals keep adopting policies that encroach on our personal space and start to inconvenience us

It turns people off in the long run. People are becoming more selfish and looking out for themselves which is what conservatism leans more towards.

Famous believers in personal freedoms are the republican party

anyone that’s actually religious wouldn’t consider Biden religious, that’s one

two, im literally telling you values like individualism conflict with core principles of religion like things like asceticism dude im not saying there’s no room but there’s definitely tension

even being against LGBT+ or whatever else is enough to get you tossed over to rightoid status, (and im not saying that it’s okay to be anti-LGBT+) which is where a good swath of anti-religious motivation usually stems from esp. in the U.S.

A dude who is pretty catholic and has been forever is religious. Like what are we doing here? Lol.

I’d say most people who are very anti gay marriage are rightoid status. Like there’s quite a few people I know who vote left, are religious, and aren’t that. So there’s a major reason why you get tossed over to that lol. Also doesn’t help that their stupid f***ing politicians vote that way too.

  • Mar 12, 2024

hell even things like gender equality goes against some religious doctrines like Christianity or Islam lol that’s a huge one i didn’t even think of

Hitchens borderline campaigned and became famous for attacking Islam in the name of leftist values
