It's a lot easier to do the nepotism thing when you're like a cousin as opposed to a rapper's son or something

Couple that with Kenny already being secretive and then ensuring people didn't spill the beans early made it a lot easier to keep that connection secret

Also Keem had some type of motion before it was publicized that he was Kendrick’s cousin and they started really collaring atleast publicly. It ain’t like he popped out of nowhere and became Travis Scott

  • And if I’m Kendrick I’m absolutely putting my cousin on if I hear potential in what he’s making. That’s what you supposed to do.

truthfully not sure he needs it. i dont think too many younger rap fans care about stuff like that anymore

Yeah it was always a weird issue as to why it concerned rap only, the Cryus', Blue Ivy already set, the Smiths, Giannis and bron , majority of Hollywood actors, but I guess it was a necessary evil for such a competitive genre and it being no longer important means the sport is really dying

  • "Lil buddy fooled yall" is a dope line in retrospect cause the buzz that keem had could have secretly cultivated, I respect their game

Great video, its good to see actually informative unique topics and takes on the youtube space of hip hop discussion, I really like how you highlighted the way its always existed, good editing and i agree with it. It's cool u had the anecdote of your friend cuz it shows keem wasnt knee deep in the industry by damn. You showed a lot of stuff a lot of people arent aware of to show how much he was doing pre melodic blue. I doubt keem actually did get in just through the email theres probably more that happened. I agree with almost everything here.

Some constructive criticism to improve your video format (none of it is a big deal really) is I think you should try to get a dif type of lighting than the ring light in front of you, do it from the side or sumn, and try to EQ more bass into the sound of your mic. When you bring up examples, try to use 2 examples max. I would stop doing the zoom ins. I didnt really see the point in going into hypothesizing what the interviewer thought there.

    appreciate the feedback!

    Fred a nepo

His maternal grandfather was nobility, among other qualities

I used to record music when i was like 13 with some friends and we’d all help eachother with lines or how to finish verses. It such a natural process but everything has to he written by 1 artist according to ktt

if you were a real artist you would’ve written everything yourself with no help

I think Jaden has done well for himself creating his own identity as an obvious nepo baby. Can’t really speak on Willow because I’ve never heard much of her stuff

People like to write Jaden off because of his rapping but honestly I ain’t heard anyone else make stuff like BLUE or PINK

He deserves all the credit in the world for his ambition, Even if it falls short sometimes

He works best with those moody tracks but it was always an ehh for him cause I felt he was way too old to be making that moody ass angsty music
