UndisclosedYou could, but if you were to put a piece of music in 11/4 in front of a group of musicians they would not be very happy with you lol
If you’re writing out a piece of music you always always have to do what’s easiest for the performer. Can you imagine trying to keep time in an 11/4 time signature? Or trying to conduct an 11/4 time signature? It’s just really not practical whereas multimeter measures are extremely common.
