Oct 13, 2022ZezimaBy woke agenda I mean people that a filling token roles. You know with inclusion and all that, there are movies who cast one or two black people for the sake of diversity, but you can tell that they are pandering. They usually pick the worst black actors for the token roles. Good black actors don’t get great placement because Hollywood execs don’t want them outshining their white costars.
I think some of it may be pandering but other is getting with the time. Like the new top gun got Jay Ellis in it. I don't think that they are pandering with that.
One thing I do look at when they are casting is that they still are the sidekicks to the main role too often so i will agree to the second point
