Wind up bird chronicles on my to read list. Really enjoyed Norwegian wood (I'm a fan of Murakami's elegant writing style)
WUBC is a lot more of the typical, magical realism style of Murakami than Norwegian Wood. it's a great book, maybe his best. my favorite is 1Q84 which is probably peak Murakami but it's his longest book so if you like WUBC check that one out too. also really enjoyed his latest novel, though it wasn't that popular
Murakami is one of my favorite authors. I just really love his writing style and prose. there's something about it that's so relaxing. perfect to lie around the house on a rainy day with a cup of coffee

You nailed his prose with that description. Something so...breezy about it
I’ve lost all interest in reading and I feel like my life is over

In my past life yes
I looked at the sections we have here and thought Wow I’m not interested in any of those things
I’m going to read through old fashion magazines I have and try to listen to more podcasts around literature. How do you kill/fill time when you’re fugue?
Picked up some heat from the bookstore today.
American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis
Underworld - Don DeLillo
On Writing - Stephen King

I guess variety is the key. Gym, trying to cook somethin' wit gf since i'm dumb in kitchen, going to youtube and watching some tips. Also when insomnia hits me hard i'm goin' runnin'.
Is difficult to merge all these since I've started university but it's funny trying. It depends from day and day but i'm always attempting to find some time to listen music since there are so many albums out there.

American Psycho is top tier, probs one of my favourite books written, enjoy it

I’m really enjoying these. Vogue Italia, Elle, System, Thinking Fashion and Avedon: Murals & Portraits
If anyone hits a fugue or block with reading, try magazines and art books

Talkin' about books:
Not reading anything rn, was about to get into Baudelaire but I'm already spending lot of time studying so when I finish I want to get my eyes a rest. Last books I read were Meditations and Animal Farm.
Talkin' about music:
I'm costantly searching bangers to listen when I'm at gym/in my car that make me and the friends go hyphy (like Zel, Cam'rom, Jay, clipse, yg ecc), romantic songs when I'm wit gf and inaccessible/underground music to listen when I'm alone (like Talk Talk, Swans, Tool and currently digging more in Dumile discography).

Disturbing book that one.
Just picked up Blink by Malcom Gladwell
My only real exposure to this man is his appearances on the Bill Simmons pod and he usually says something dumb but the book was $1.99 and I know a lot of people fw him lol
I've resorted to e-books for the first time to try and catch up with my reading challenge
Covid delaying my book orders so I needed something to keep me going
now reading:
Purple Hibiscus (Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie)
Zami: A New Spelling of My Name (Audre Lorde)
I want to get back into reading, its been a long time, any ideas on how i can find books that may interest me?
Wow book YouTubers are trash
Talk about not taking your own advice. I just went through the blurb of "Saviour's Champion" by this bookTuber and it's easily the worst 70 pages I've ever skimmed through
