because M4A, single payer, covers everyone, gives free at point of service care, and eliminates the profit motive.

Public option provides all of that lol

If people can get an equivalent option for free they’ll stop paying for it

You don’t think national debt is a risk? Look at countries like Greece that default
That’s not making things better for the country’s people

No, it doesn't. theres a reason bidens website only says 97%. a public option means people still have to deal with bureaucracy, and when that happens people fall through the cracks. Why are you so laser focused on preserving a system of private insurance?

Because going straight to abolishing private insurance creates a hell of a lot of issues on multiple fronts
Creating a public option lets you phase out privatized insurance

Only candidate to provide a healthcare plan without a massive budget shortfall was Mayor Pete

no, it doesn't create issues at all.

and no, it doesn't. because preserving the industry means costs will still rise, the poor and sickly will be on the bloated public option.

That doesn’t even cover 1/5 of student debt forgiveness

And also wildly unrealistic to think America will do that

And what about the issues free college and student loan forgiveness creates
It’s a bailout for the upper class and free college is gonna result in more upper class students at public universities

You also realize that America has to get this money from somewhere right? People have to have faith that it’ll be repaid or they won’t lend it in the first place

You think they won’t pick free college over $70k a year?

well US does not issue the currency, an independent central bank does and good luck getting them to issue that much in a noninflationary manner in the pursuit of one policy
