Guys do you realize how complex policies should be? How many points to each plan there has to be and how much the details have to be ironed out and backed by data and researched strategies? I agree with Kanye when he wants prison reform, educational reform, etc, but how is he going to get these things done? He doesn't even have a team of people with economic or political experience around him either. It's delusion to try to take the most powerful position in the world when you haven't truly thought about any of this stuff beyond the surface level.

Kanye has good moral and philosophical stances. Not to brag but I think I do, too. That doesn't mean I should run for f***ing president

Dude stop using the straw man argument. When I referred to Biden's team I was talking about his team that he has consulted with to come up with policies, which have been established for years. I was not referring to his ability to talk to other great minds in future situations

I know this is a Kanye forum but c'mon

“I'm not saying Biden is any better but Biden at least a competent team around him of professionals”

I’m not strawmaning you’re just moving the goal post

    Presidents do not write laws.

The stances are what matter. Isn’t that why y’all hate trump because he doesn’t take a STANCE against white supremacists

& his STANCE against illegal immigration?

Trump doesn’t know how execute his policies yet he still gets s*** done YES WE PERCEIVE WHAT HE DOES OFTEN TIMES AS NEGATIVE

But Kanye is Trump for the good side. The stances you mostly believe in

Why settle for "Trump for the good side" lmao. Why not let Kanye take his time and develop tangible, realistic ways of achieving his goals and then vote for him.

Having good ideological stances doesn't mean you should run for president. It's an important start, yes. But there's more to it and Kanye clearly doesn't have much going for him in that regard. If he comes back in a couple years and releases all of his policies on his website with all of the ways he plans on achieving them, I'll vote for him then. Until then he's just a passionate dude with no specific plan

I understand that’s how things have been presented during presidential campaigns but I think Trump has proven that is all for show. More than half of the policies Obama and every president including Trump ran on doesn’t get accomplished but every president has their mark

The detail is going to get ironed out regardless. Trump has proven that. That’s why y’all are scared of Trump right? The president is not the law writer.

Because if Trump wasn’t powerful for the wrong side y’all WOULD NOT BE SCARED

As scared as you are of Trumps stances is directly equivalent to how excited you can be for Kanye’s stances

Trust that the professionals will iron out policies. The stance is the power of the president

Even if you agree with him 100%, it's clear he doesn't have the clarity in his thoughts and temperament to be president. Plus more importantly, he doesn't have his policies completely fleshed out.

And don't say "Well yeah but Trump is president" bc I know that and look where that's gotten us

I'm not saying Biden is any better but Biden at least a competent team around him of professionals who have been in politics for decades. Kanye's political team of experts is basically nonexistent. Biden is a racist sexist homophobe but I'm more confident in his team of smart people than I am in Kanye and his team.

That a valid opinion. But I don't f*** with the way social media been treating ye. They was calling him anti-black . When he's the most pro-black candidate out there. You can say you don't ye for pres for you don't have to twist his words and defame his character to do so

Literally never heard a politician calling for a restructuring of the national educational system

They have but in different ways

For example, free college is a form of restructuring

Like I said before, I don't think Kanye is doing this for clout. He's trying to change the world using his platform which is something no other celebrity has the balls to do.

I still wouldn't vote for him tho. Not yet, at least.

And f*** Twitter dude it's a bunch of virtue signalers who only care about black people and mental health when these things are in agreement with what they believe.

Kanye’s talking about K-12 and colleges that’s the difference.

You realize people in the UK graduate high school at 16 and have a vocational focus their last two years of high school?

The American school system is not set up correctly

Kanye’s stance is to restructure it completely

“No. 3 restructuring the nations educational system to serve the nations most vulnerable populations providing educational and vocational options”

“They don’t teach you in school that you can buy 100 acres for 100 grand in middle America and feed your family from the land”

“Do you think there’s a reason why they don’t teach you that?”

You have to acknowledge the stances. Just acknowledge the difference

Let me say I respect that completely. I’m not saying you’re wrong for not wanting to vote for him idk if I would vote for him but I’m willing to listen. My issue is people painting him as mentally ill instead of talking about his stances

It's ridiculous that people are being a*** on how he's going to accomplish all the demands like he alone should burden all the work. This unrealistic expectation on ye but at the same time are so ready to accept Biden because he's the "best compromise"

Dude what? He's running for f***ing PRESIDENT of the country. Of course people expect him to have some idea about how he's going to be accomplishing his goals. People here are becoming utterly delusional. Say what you want about guys like Biden but he has a team of many advisors and professionals with economic and political backgrounds who have a ton of experience and knowledge. The same cannot be said about Ye and his team of family and pastor friends.
