He’s doing Trumps campaign style with. Stances that by in large represent the American people. He also saw that Bernie running in 2016 gave him steam for this election. He also see DNC will not allow him to win like they didn’t allow Bernie to win so he’s going to be running republican once trump isn’t there. He’s taking all that information and sampling it to make a mega campaign rolling into 2024

1 it COULD but i dont think it has (so far at least) had this effect at all. All i’ve seen, outside a few users on this site, is ridicule, mockery and anger at Kanye for everything he’s done in this presidential run.
2 true but again at the moment this seems problematic. Trump’s rallies, incl the early ones, were full of hundreds then thousands of people cheering along with him, and repeating his policies/slogans (however basic) en masse - Lock her up, build that wall, MAGA etc.
By contrast, Kanye’s first rally has seen people booing, audibly doing “for gods sake” type stuff esp after the Tubman comments, and various members of a small crowd arguing with him back and forth.
I really can’t see him pulling anything other than a minor gimmick vote off. I can’t see the Republican establishment backing him at all, why would they get behind al of these policies they are logicaly against, regardless of their popular appeal? If Trump is trounced in November, which seems a very real possibility, there’s no way they will gamble on a maverick again 4 years later.

Maybe all that trump stuff was some 4D chess s*** but he knew how much the majority of people in community disapproved and for good reason and he just trashed their opinions saying s*** about Democrat plantations because the vast majority of them don’t vote like white people
