wasnt bad but I have no interest in watching this again
changed my mind, this was bad
I think the problem is (and the producers knew this as well) is that Anthony Mackie is not a lead actor kind of actor. He’s always good in amongst the cast but he just doesn’t have that presence.
It’s why the film is 70/80% Harrison Ford because he can clearly carry a film and he was happy to put the work in front of the camera.
This honestly felt like a side story about a side character type of film. And this is captain America we’re talking about. It shouldn’t feel like that.

I've said this from the beginning. Mackie is not a leading man. I don't know what Marvel was thinking when they passed the mantel of the leader of THE AVENGERS to someone as mediocre as him.

That fart sound has better presence than Mackie tho

It feels harsh to say but I agree. He’s a side character/actor and nothing more.
And even in this film they make it very clear several times that he has no super ability.
It’s why the Hawkeye and black widow stuff just fall down on their own. We’ve only ever been told they are side characters so why would we think of them as anything else?
Marvel is done outside of Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four and X-Men
daredevil?

why was there no pressure for him to even take the serum? like multiple times he could have been tempted as a plot device imo but he has vibranium wings/tech and s***

because they already went over this in falcon and the winter soldier.

Essentially he feels he doesn’t need it to be captain America
Marvel is done outside of Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four and X-Men
marvel is done except all the movies they have announced right now
Marvel is done outside of Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four and X-Men
"Thunderbolts"
The best one actually
Looks like a giant grey sludge to my eyes + Dreadful lineup of leads outside of Florence Pugh but I hope I'm wrong.

Yes but the team behind Beef is behind it as well as one of the writers from The Bear so I have a lot of faith there

No way
Thunderbolts* classic so soon
Not a single great movie since phase 4 started.
I liked Mr. Strange 2 and I’m probably alone on that lol
I don’t like anything else so far. And yes that spider man nostalgia movie was mid

You act like he got hired with the intention of him being a leading man down the line, lol.
That nigga should've took the serum
He would've been dead on the ground if not for Ross coming to his sense
That vibranium absorption held him together a little but MCU-realistically he should've been shattered by that fight

Anthony Mack is not the problem, they literally wrote him to be secondary to the real main character Harrison ford. It’s a script problem not an actor
