Sometimes I feel like people who like Cherry Bomb don’t give Flower Boy enough love though, like he really kept a lot of great elements of Cherry Bomb within Flower Boy imo

I think it’s a great album and showed his potential to get where he is now. That being said it has a lot of the immature lyrics and songwriting from his early days that pulls it down a bit. Reason why the albums after this are so much better is cause he learned song structure (as told in the hulu doc) and how to make better songs. He became a better writer onward.

OKAGA, Pilot, FYW, Smuckers, Keep The Os, Perfect and Blow My Load are gems though.
