Imagine hating on someone getting to see Sir Nolan’s next magnum opus in 70mm at 2pm on a Thursday with his 5 closest friends, couldn’t be me
Not only are they buying tickets a year in advance but they’re using PTO for it too
yall are insane
I don't think there's anything wrong with preordering them for personal use, I definitely think there's something wrong with paying resale prices on Ebay
Oh for sure, anyone who buys one on ebay is dumb as hell.
Guarantee someone buys mine tho

Nothing wrong with being anti-consumerist
Imagine copping movie tickets for the sole purpose of selling them
Easy bread
Couldn’t imagine being that broke respectfully
I make plenty money I just like making more
Really hope this presale is a one-off marketing tool used to prove people's interest in 70mm IMAX. Would absolutely suck if it became the standard especially for movies not even filmed for this format

Dune 2 did the same thing for the fan first experience in 70mm but it was a month in advance instead of a year.
Lots of people mad itt over 16 theaters total having tickets for 4 total showtimes on sale

Nothing wrong with a month but this movie isn't even in post production yet

When I saw Sinners in 70mm IMAX the person that introduced the movie said the theaters were really paying attention to how well it performs for the future of the format.
Since Sinners did so well it wouldn’t surprise me if this is just IMAX testing the waters to see if they should expand how many theaters can play 70mm for next year
