Disclaimer long read and for people who really wanna talk about the length of this album or anything about it.
I think the album is fine a 10/10 for me I enjoy every song. This is just all hypothetical and if I had to shorten it this is how I would. Feel free to share your changes as well. For this i’m keeping all the tracks for the sake of them already existing. Just cutting them from the album and shortening it you’ll see below.
1. Champagne Poetry
2. Papi’s Home
3. Girls Want Girls
4. In The Bible
5. Fair Trade
6. TSU
7. N 2 Deep
8. Pipe Down
9. Race My Mind
10. Get Along Better
11. IMY2
12. F***ing Fans
13. The Remorse
Songs left off
Love All - should of kept the other version or gave this to Jay Z
Way 2 Sexy - A future song give that to him
Yebba’s Heartbreak - fire track but could of been kept for her project, maybe possible Drake feature on there instead of here
No Friends In The Industry - dope track but this and 7am could of been a loosie drop via SoundCloud or something
Knife Talk - Should of been on Savage Mode 2
7AM - a SoundCloud or Sirius XM drop would of been dope for this
Fountains - easily could of been given to Tems
You Only Live Twice - save this for the Drake & Ross project that hopefully we see one day
Really this is aging to be his most boring album to me. Pipe Down, Knife Talk (gym purposes) and IMY2 are the only songs I still play from the album. I guess I should’ve lowered my expectations a bit.
Yeah it sucks ass lmfao
C’mon I get the jokes and s*** but at least have some legit reasons 😐

Understandable and I get that i’m bias 100% but I see both sides of it. I feel like he made it 21 tracks with a bunch of different stuff to try and make tracks for everybody. Feel like at his status it is hard to please everybody. Granted you never can but just the effort to.
why as a drake fan would I want less songs lmao
I literally explained where there others would still go and be just not on the album 💀 damn ya’ll can’t read or some s***??

Truly I'm just not much of a fan after if you're reading this. That was the last album by him I loved. Scorpion was alright. Had some joints I liked but nothing on CLB grabbed me

Understood 🤝

This is pretty much how my perfect version of the album look like except would've kept Yebba's Heartbreak and Love All

I read it all and it sounds dumb. These are CLB songs so they are on CLB not some make believe album placement
The Remorse might be the most cookie cutter Drake outro, it felt WAY too forced and generic.

Thanks for the insight

I feel that still would want Drake to have a part on Yebba’s Heartbreak regardless

Personally I don’t think so I like what he was saying on it about all the people around him. Could it of had more of an impact? Yeah you aren’t wrong he does have stronger outro tracks.
No Friends In The Industry is the best song on the album. Imagine cutting that lol
Thanks for the insight
go spend some time w ur family or something, this ain’t it

I think you should bro everybody else is simply talking you need to let off some steam go rub one out lmao

Fair Trade is my favorite and not cutting it from existence it would still drop just another way
It's probably his least interesting project that he's dropped ever for me.
It's drake, so every LP he's going to have some really top tier records.
FOR ME THOUGH, the lows on this album are some of the lowest of lows for his career.
Way 2 Sexy is awful. He's too talented to resort to this kind of low hanging fruit for a smash. Girls want girls is meh, can do without. He and Lil Durk can do soooo much better than In the Bible.
Papi's Home is ridiculous, which is crazy given the production that's on it. Love All was a goat leak that turned into some boring s***. I know Knife Talk is one of the 'hits' on this but that record could have honestly did w/o drake on it.
The highs are vintage drake, but at this point in his career I wish he'd play for history more instead of chasing hits which FOR ME is wild because he's so talented he does not need to do some of the s*** he did on this LP.
Still listen to the highlights though but...I didn't expect Dark Lane to be better than this and IMO it very clearly is.
