nah after microtransactions started becoming widely accepted
i remember when MVSC3 having locked dlc on disc was controversial, now you can’t even bat an eye at that anymore
You mean to say the game wasn't a literal f***ing mess until years after release?
Last time I checked hardware doesn't dictate animation quality and frequency of bugs..
No I mean buy an actual computer brokie
blame capitalism
I do
Like the movie industry m, there’s way too many ridiculously expensive games / movies getting made and one flop can f*** up a studio
We need double A and indies too
Or if we get triple A games, control that f***in budget
Stop supporting all these garbage GaS games and micro transactions filled games
This thread stinks, terrible angle of approach, should've talked about games launching buggy and you win that debate
Make it about games being good or not is a failure
Legend of Zelda: Tear of the Kingdom
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
Alan Wake 2
Super Mario Bros Wonder
Spider-Man 2
Baldurs Gate 3
Armored Core 6
Hogwart Legacy
Street Fighter 6
If you couldn’t find something to play this year, you just don’t like games. Starfield too if that’s your thing.

BG3 is not from the AAA industry
AAA publishers have done everything they could to bankrupt Larian Studios because they wanted to make the games they wanted to make for 25 years at this point. It is laughable to include them here
Little known indie gem - baulders gate with a small $100 million budget
Owned by $6 billion dollar yearly income tiny company wizards of the coast

Yes Baldurs Gate 3 was Independently published

Y'all are so f***ing insufferable lmao no wonder you can't have fun with video games anymore

Larian notoriously stopped working with publishers after they have been scammed by them multiple times in the early 2000s. Crowdfunding saved them from bankruptcy in 2013 and since then it was basically just the fans of an old ass genre no big publisher would ever greenlight again literally throwing money at them for the dos2 crowdfund and Baldurs gate 3 early access that allowed them to expand by 10 times in 4 years.
Their games are self published and have nothing to do with the industry. Baldurs Gate 3 is an indie title and only AAA in budget. Lumping in together with a billion $ industry as an argument for that industry is just nasty since it was only fans that allowed them to make this product

Not reading that just stop playing games if you hate em so much

Alan Wake 2 is a walking simulator Nvidia gave their nuthuggers to parade around with
Hogwarts Legacy: ass pandering to a crowd that doesn't actually play games
AC6 and Cyberpunk:PL are really the only games that are just good games with no gimmicks
SF and Mario are always going to be consistent because they're franchises and gameplay doesn't really change dramatically, so I guess you can count those if you want
I've never played BG nor am I interested in it, but I accept that it's an objectively well-made game and put it up there with AC and C:PL

Bugginess and lazy production quality both contribute to the overall quality of a game
