The PS5 will be able to play the PS4 version, and it will run better on it. But the official PS5 version which will run a lot better and with bette graphics won’t come out till next year, when it comes out and if you have the PS4 version you can upgrade for free tho
Damn. I got it confused
i mean
yes
bc timezones
Ahh yeah my bad lol I thought it would be localized so it would open up at 12 for each time zone the same way the game drops earlier in places like australia and s***
I hope we can all enjoy this game and not nitpick the hell outta of it till we get it in our hands.
Supposedly a bestbuy in OKC already has copies in stock
Also they’re hiring...
I don’t need a job rn (self employed) so I’m thinking of applying for a job there and just taking a copy home with me and not showing up
you'd have to have your first shift next week for it to really be worth your effort since Tuesday is Dec 1st
also the day 1 patch

i have low expectations going in so let's see
I’m just expecting a fun immersive open world and it looks like that’s what I’m gonna get, nothing game changing
i can almost hear the PS4 Pro sounding like a van in that gameplay vid PS4 would cause fires
I’m still gonna risk it
i have low expectations going in so let's see
I’m hyped, but I’m also going in playing this with a clear mind as well

doesn't that disappoint you a bit knowing the history behind this project and quite basically how years ago it was supposed to be literally industry changing? now, after all of these years, expectations have been buffed down to "a fun time". can't say i feel too much sympathy for cdpr

Witcher 3 wasn't industry changing but I loved that game. If it's anywhere near that level I think we should be good. People have insane expectations for this game to a point it could never reach them even if the game was perfect

Not really, So many games advertise their s*** as "the next best thing" so at this point it feels like just another type of advertising. This game looks like it'll be great, but I'm not gonna go in expecting the greatest piece of media ever created because that's only setting yourself up for disappointment. It could be a 10/10, it could be an 8/10, it could even be a 6/10 but I trust it'll be good enough to play for a solid amount of good time.
Only thing that could f*** up the game for me is if it runs badly on ps5. I just sent in my pre order and I very rarely pre order games. I'm 100% confident it's at least a 9/10 for me
hope the new zealand trick works for this
I live in NZ and mine is pre downloading on the 8th
I feel like pop-in about to be horrendous on PS4 That's minor and it's understandable but I can't help but notice it. I played GTA 5 on xbox 360 in like 2015 and that s*** was ridiculous, can't believe I hadn't noticed how bad it was. That's probably why they're always driving slow in ps4 footage. I think all the flickering screens in Night City will help cover it up too

Its noticeable at about the 2:55 mark in the latest gameplay, out in the desert.
I dont think it will be horrendous, certainly an issue though, but seems more isolated to smaller, ancillary models as opposed to larger ones or textures. And yeah being in a city environment means reduced draw distance which is a plus for reducing pop in. And the fact that its 1st person.
I was f***ing 14 when this s*** was announced and hyped asf thinking it was coming in 2 years. 2 WEEKS
Review copies are apparently being sent out and the embargo is supposed to be lifted on the 7th (which is the Monday before release).
