bloodborne has so much more attention to detail than i thought on previous playthroughs
all over the towns theres statues of people in poses of servitude facing the healing church
and when you kill rom, they change into statues of the pthumerians, facing the amygdalas

Never noticed this at all
Insane how much lore they packed into that game, sometimes it doesn't seem humanly possible

completed BB a bunch of times and never noticed this
Always been scared to cop these games because I’m not good at games like that but I’m addicccted to bloodbourne

I’m garbage at video games and I beat DS 1 and 2

Definitely gonna try those next
Which one out of those, BB and sekhiro is the top no.1 goat one for people? Or is it pretty much personal preference

just depends who you ask. they're all super popular except for DS2 which is very divisive (it wasnt made by the main Miyazaki team so it has a different feel to it, but its still a very good game)
DS3, bloodborne and sekiro are pretty much tied for me but i have a soft spot for DS3.
Elden Ring hype got me wanting to finally go back and finish DS2: Scholar of the First Sin
DS2 wasn’t even that hard originally, but the new enemy placements and s*** make it at least twice as hard

Finish that
Most annoying/cheap enemies in any Souls game imo

No Man’s Wharf is literally f***ing unfair now

theres alot of subtle hints in the game as well as other.
Some are definite hard to fine because it really do be some surgical details fit into it and it just shows the beauty of Miyazaki's world building and lore

For me it's definitely Bloodborne, like I think that could be the actual best game of all time and I'm not even joking, the combat system is genius, the lore is amazing, the atmosphere is unreal, the bosses are satisfying, the areas are unique and memorable, and it just feels gorgeous to play
Those apply to pretty much all the Soulsborne games, but that one does everything just a bit better, the faster pace is also something I prefer to the slower DS-style combat, even tho that's still brilliant in its own right
It's also extremely replayable due to the randomly generated chalice dungeons you can access, it just keeps going, overall Bloodborne is the best total package imo but you can really never go wrong with a Soulsborne

Miyazaki writes every item description too, obviously they're translated over here but it's so impressive that the man is involved to that amount of fine detail

the dock place? i've only played through the game once but i remember dying in that zone the most
That and Iron Keep
"lets just shove a ton of enemies into a tiny space to assfuck the player because dark souls is supposed to be hard i guess"
F***in d***heads lol
Bloodborne is my favorite one. DS1 is the one I have the most fond memories with. Sekiro is the one I go back and forth on the most, and the one I believe is in desperate need of a sequel to flesh out its ideas although I am generally opposed to sequels in these games.
Overall FromSoftware and Miyazaki are my favorite developers and the ones I trust the most. They’ve never done the fans wrong.
I’m refraining from any Elden Ring trailers or info so I can get the most fresh experience possible out of the game.

Personal preference but Sekiro is my number 1
One of the best games of all time
I usually get tired of games fast and don’t really replay games much, but there are certain games that are just so good you can boot the game up and have fun every single time. I’ve played the game over 10 times now, s*** is just fun. God tier combat, incredible art design, amazing level design and incredible bosses. Some of the bosses feel like you’re playing against real players.
This is a hot take and i’m prepared for the hate i’mma get but i feel like Fromsoft make mid and generic music. I can count on one hand how many tracks i remember from these games and i wouldn’t even have to use my whole hand. Idk what it is but most of their stuff just sounds like generic medieval s*** generic orchestral music, even Sekiro ( which is one of my favorite games of all time and a 10/10 imo ) has forgettable music. Anyone else feel this way?

honestly i agree there's some songs that stand out a bit but i never felt the need to go and search for a song from any of the Fromsoft games.

Right? Like i’ve never heard anything in game and felt like i gotta hop on yt and listen to this. It’s serviceable but i wish we had some f***ing bangers ngl

only song that ever made me do something close to that was the dragon fight from sekiro even then i don't remember the song that much
