I hated waiting a week to watch a second episode cause I loved the premiere a lot. I think I'll be letting this go till all eps are released tbh. It's what I'm doing with BCS and it doesn't get to me. But having watched this show's premiere is making me impatient af.
this era of binge watching and instantaneous accessibility has really made it hard to follow stuff the traditional way
4 time jumps at this point, right? I enjoyed it nevertheless, its building itself up slowly and I think one episode per week works fine for me so far

as long as they keep making clear when it's jumping around in time (Jenkins entering the reports and the dates on them) I'm fine with it...was initially jarring but I got used to it
Never knew they couldn't tap Facetime calls.. It explains why some people are always using it

First 2 episodes been good though some of the acting isn’t great
Bernthal is great ofc can’t wait to see Marlo get more to do

I watched it late at night so I may have been tripping but I thought the lady interviewing Hersl & the rapper and the white dude with the beard listening in on calls sound like they’re reading their lines sometimes

They weren't too bad imo, but the wiretap guy and the DOJ lady are kinda noticeable sometimes. It's not as smooth, but they're fine. Hoping to see Marlo do some more homicide work
cops in this are straight up state sponsored gangs, Jesus
based on a real-life case
Amadeus top 5

Yeah I meant just the doj & wiretap guy not the rapper actor but like you said not terrible and to the DOJ lady credit they are giving here these long political monologues
I can kinda see the critique on the wiretap guy but I like the DOJ lady's acting
I read that the rapper is actually Young Moose playing himself, you can google it if you want spoilers but he was involved in this corruption case in real life
episode 2 was pretty good imo and it's clearly showing how deeply entrenched corruption is in police culture while building up the case. the time jumps this episode seemed clearer to me too
this miniseries isn't gonna have the characters or lore of The Wire but it's just as well done and captures the same systemic failures while showing a true story

I’m bugging who’s wiretap guy, the g money dude?
