The majority of Americans today are living paycheck to paycheck and a lot of them aren’t even able to do that. Our food needs are met sure but we’re deprived of our health needs in every direction. In the grand scheme, it is quickly becoming harder and harder to meet any basic needs when inflation and income are not at all correlated

Also it is a completely different standard of living you’re right. Doesn’t make it a favorable one
