They're both pretty lofi, even if their styles are completely different

Underground wise, theirs a plethora of different scenes to find some unique talent.

Mainstream wise, their are different production styles but a lot of mainstream rappers don't stand out much from each other.

mach hommy and tyler have had the two biggest rap albums this year

they sound nothing alike

(and before someone tells me the mach hommy album wasn't big, I mean grand in terms of importance, garnishing attention by acclaim as opposed to popularity)

internet makes it easier to put out music but harder to stand out. for most artists it's less risky to just ride a wave of what already works than be original.

Boogie is my guy but him and the others you listed are all pretty much in the same category of rap & they aren’t really new artists either — they all solid though

it’s not that difficult to find diverse-sounding rappers, you just have to listen to people from different cities

btw op i could suggest diving into other genres & switch back to rap occasionally for now.
