That’s exactly what I try to do to maintain balance lol I also worked with Live Nation for a minute as well so my ears were constantly exposed to new music of all genres

trust me u can go a week bumping one artist to another if u fw em enough then go discover more as u go. it helped me add some diversity from mainstream artist in my spotify too.

Nah I personally don’t have the problem of not having new rap s*** to discover, I just really haven’t been interested in the SoundCloud rap comeback to pay attention to these guys specifically. Once in a while I find a “Carti-like” song I fw but that’s not really my favorite sound to be out here trying to find more people that do it.

I’m just saying all the sc dudes you named got weird ass names that look like a bunch of nonsense when they get listed together. I have been hearing about them for a while, just that the bits I’ve heard haven’t really caught my attention yet.

actually i take that back. ny drill scene was great for a while past two years or so but got really old pretty quick

when sofaygo pops off i can see it starting a backlash movement of making ppl popular that sound nothing like him bc so many people won't like it

NY drill scene definitely was one of the most exciting things to happen even though it played off the UK — Sleepy Hallow & Sheff G two of my favorite artists to come out of it though I like how they spin it

i fw sleepy and sheff but their sound gets repetitive really quickly. respect to sheff for trying to diversify but it just never sounds good. sleepy good for a few songs but he hasn't dropped a project i could listen all the way thru yet
