lol so do other people. I'm sure there's lots of rappers that made music like Wayne before he got hot, but he succeeded and had an impact

when sofaygo pops off i can see it starting a backlash movement of making ppl popular that sound nothing like him bc so many people won't like it

    No lmao

There was no one who made music like Wayne or Kanye or even Drake lol that’s the point niggas have been trying to make since 16

you can’t name who they were clones of you have to take 4-5 different artists and elements

There were things they took from others but up until a few years you kinda had to be a whole new thing lmao

I think they're out there, it's just you have to be tapped in to the new underground, which mainly exists online

Idk the blogs tho that are doing the good work of finding those artists, I know they're out there tho

Sorry but y'all are embarrassingly incorrect

There’s no way you can argue against it

People just keep taking whatever sound gets made and adding to it

What are you thinking? The early 2010’s?

We have already expanded on every sound from then and some people still out here working with Lex Luger, or making Charles Hamilton type songs.

We still have allot of the sounds from before and the new ones of today. People just don’t dig hard enough

Yea what happened to retro hipster rappers ?

Is it me or is diversity in the rap scene declining?

I used to be able to discover new artists that had their own distinct style going for them that were worth listening to but lately I feel like they’re harder to find.

    it’s you

I think the fact there's so much of any niche makes it all feel less special in general. Stuff gets ran into the ground immediately
