Rap artists are still the most streamed by a long shot. Drake, YB and Lil Baby have more streams than every popstar combined this year hip-hop not going anywhere

No. Black Beetles took down Closer in 2016 and Bad and Boujee was next year in 2017. If you don't count Trap Queen then Black Beetles did the bigger blow to pop. Bad and Boujee lost #1 to Shape Of You so it definitely didn't kill pop.

I don’t think its the future of music but it’s honestly not THAT bad. A lot of it is unlistenable, but the better hyperpop artists are pretty decent

I think Drake is to thank for keeping hip-hop on top along with himself so it's not going anywhere until he retires.

Hyperpop already played out, gecs and sophie were the only ones doing the sound well and we lost sophie and gecs are MIA.
