I love a good omega thread
Yea man...them Omega threads with more than one word always do it for me too
Another day and another Drake thread I say he is as dominant as ever
ah yeah threads being made on a backwater kanye fan forum means our papi is doing just as well as ever
So you telling me if drake drop a new album he’s gonna sell a lot? because this s*** means nothing just old ass music getting plays nigga moving like a legacy act at this point
I think ther is something behind the scenes . Like a drake ktt discord wher they @ everyone when theres a new thread ? If thats possible, i bad at discord .
lol it’s just very expected it’s been several months or so and there’s a drake topic every 4 hours like this
aint kendrick almost 40 too
Let's be real Kendrick ain't taking over Drake's spot
He just knocked him out of it.
Thrones for the taking right now.
For anybody really
He might as well have never lost it if niggas aint gonna take all this energy and use it to prop up the next “guy”
Kendrick arguably had a DMX 50 Wayne tier year but he don’t give a f*** enough to be “the guy”
dude is 38, even before this beef he was headed towards his expiration date
The L just sped it up, he hit the nitro boost with this lawsuit
Imo Drake has been phoning it in for years and that hasn’t slowed down anything. I don’t think ya’ll truly understand how much this dude is played everywhere and everyday like he makes the most accessible and mass-appealing hip hop music we’ve ever seen. He’s deadass just as much of a pop artist as he is a rap artist
I was at work the other day and some senior russian lady was listening to non-stop drake from her phone she probably doesn’t even know that the beef happened
maybe if he reframes the entire 2022-2024 era as him being in the throes of addiction and depression, ala eminem's 2004-2007 period, and makes positive changes for himself that are reflected in his music.
i think a lot of people would like a drake redemption arc, i'm just not sure if he has one in him.
I think ther is something behind the scenes . Like a drake ktt discord wher they @ everyone when theres a new thread ? If thats possible, i bad at discord .
This is actually true
I think ther is something behind the scenes . Like a drake ktt discord wher they @ everyone when theres a new thread ? If thats possible, i bad at discord .
yeah they got something floating out there
He'll always have legions of rabid Stans. I'm genuinely curious about the petition situation, because the outcome kinda factors into the direction he'll go
He might as well have never lost it if niggas aint gonna take all this energy and use it to prop up the next “guy”
Kendrick arguably had a DMX 50 Wayne tier year but he don’t give a f*** enough to be “the guy”
and this is the real problem
A lot of cool niche underground folks people will respond with when you say rap sucks but ultimately no one thats mainstream accessible and unique/fresh to take the genre in its next era the way Pac/50/Kanye/Wayne did
doubt it. already went from a bunch of memorable bops every year to maybe one or two per year. happens to everybody eventually.
Maybe if he came back with some actually introspective music like his early days and not the "playlist style" weedplate 20 track albums
I don’t think most people like or respect him as a person anymore, tbh.
It’s harder to see, because it doesn’t manifest in streams or their absence, but I feel like the only time I ever hear someone mention him anymore is in a negative light.
Whether or not that will affect his next album’s performance has yet to be seen.
So you telling me if drake drop a new album he’s gonna sell a lot? because this s*** means nothing just old ass music getting plays nigga moving like a legacy act at this point
What is a lot to you? Was 294K after a 5 year comeback for Kendrick a lot?
What is a lot to you? Was 294K after a 5 year comeback for Kendrick a lot?
No. Next question
drake is a popstar. do rappers now
Re-read this and tell me what the connection between inflated streams and being the most streamed might be
They genuinely believe that the labels are conspiring with streaming services to inflate Kendrick’s numbers while simultaneously boasting and bragging about Drake’s spot at being #1 in streaming every single month
Please make it make sense
